Alison Thompson
Meet our Musical Director, Alison who joined Norwich Harmony as a singer in 1995. She was always a keen member and soon took a role in Music Team and became Assistant Director. In 2001 she was encouraged to take over as Musical Director, a role and responsibility that she loves!
Her love of close harmony and singing has been lifelong and led to her training as a Singing Judge for our national organisation. In this role she has travelled to the USA, Canada and Europe as well as judging and coaching on home soil.
Alison has taken the chorus to new heights in contest and enjoys cultivating a supportive yet determined environment among the members. Working with the Music Team, she tries to ensure every rehearsal is productive, rewarding and fun.
